Oftentimes when I come across esthetically pleasing, useful, and/or simple home accessories I ask myself, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Well, the answer is that, at the end of the day, with three kids, a husband, and a part-time job, I don’t have the time. While I miss nurturing that creative process, I am absolutely delighted when I find products like Any Random Jane. This fun and quirky line of home accessories dressed up plain, uninspired spaces in less than a minute and put a smile on my face. The colorful collection includes wall décor, photo and frame mats, organizational tools and thoughtful hostess gifts.
Two sisters created Any Random Jane to meet the needs of busy moms, like me. A photo mat gives an old favorite photo like this one of my now school-age daughter a fresh new look. I used another eye-popping photo mat to display a special family photo on my bulletin board at the office since I didn’t have any more desk space.
The gift tag kit, laminated plastic cards which come with a dry-erase pen, have been functional in many ways in our house. The collection of twelve cards tell me when the dishwasher is clean or dirty, identify what’s inside the kids’ toy bins and baskets, and serve as a perfect gift tag for a last-minute gift when there was no time to purchase a greeting card. Change your mind? Make a mistake? The dry-erase pen is forgiving and allows me and the kids to make changes with ease. I could get out my labeler machine, but this is much more efficient with a nice personal touch.
