Crest Whitestrips [update]

In a recent post, I told you about how I was going to try Crest 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips. Well, I did. After I put the girls to bed on Sunday night, I applied the Whitestrips and set a timer for 2 hours.

The application process was easy; just peel the strips off the backing, and apply to teeth. The bottom didn’t want to stick at first, but the top went on smoothly. The strips have little notches that wrap and conform to your teeth. While they did feel kind of funny – and I couldn’t speak clearly – they didn’t taste bad. You can’t eat or drink while wearing them (other than a little water), so make sure to take that into consideration when picking a 2-hour window.

Removal of the Whitestrips took almost no effort, and there was no messy residue left over. As far as results go, I didn’t notice a huge difference, but my teeth do look brighter and subtly whiter.

I experienced some teeth sensitivity, even a couple of days later, but the instructions warn you about this. Over all, I’d recommend this product. It’s much cheaper and more convenient than a professional whitening, and my little brother, who has a beautiful smile, swears by these strips!
