I always fill up the muffin tin as if baking regular cupcakes and then put the cone upside down over the mix and it’ll back into the cone and give more of a top to cover with icing! But this way works too, bit less messy I’d say

We add chocolate chips to the bottom of the cone before adding the batter.
Very very yummy.

Paula – Using the mini’s might be just right for little hands. Just make sure to keep an eye on the oven so they don’t burn, since it’ll be hard to estimate just how long to bake them. On the plus side, you’ll get a lot more cones out of it

My daughter’s birthday is the day before Halloween. Her class is having a Halloween party on Friday, so I asked her teacher if she could bring cupcakes for her birthday. When I bought the cones, I grabbed mini’s buy mistake. I didn’t notice till I got home. They are the perfect size for taking to school. Since they are smaller, the kids will have no problem finishing them off before the end of class. (the party is the last 45 min. of the day)

Thanks for the Great Idea!!!!!! My Daughter loves the Idea.

We are topping them with Mini M&M’s

Wow this looks great. Too bad the weather here in Los Angeles has been in high 90s, no way I would turn on oven until hopefully November. I was just adding a weather widget box to my blog, this way I will always know it when son is watching tv instead of going to new sites with all their ads. I am going to have to try this, might be cheaper than the Stone Cold Creamery cake for birthdays in March and April.
