My Life in Photos.
This week has been so… blah. I’m totally off the diet/exercise bandwagon, as you can see from all the food-related photos below. I could blame it on that time of the month, but in reality it’s just me being me. Emotional eating. Yadda yadda yadda.
Here’s week 4 of my 365 Project… you can go back and look at weeks one, two, and three if you’d like.
Friday
New Ritz crackers from Kraft. A nice twist on the original. So good with a smear (or a dollop) of Nutella or any other nut butter. YUM! |

Saturday
The toddler’s a little obsessed with Elmo these days. She won’t go to bed without her entire collection of Elmo-themed toys. It wouldn’t annoy me so much if I didn’t have to go hunting for them all around the house at bedtime! |

Sunday
Made risotto in my Cuisinart rice cooker for the first time. It turned out beautifully, but I still managed to ruin it by adding crab. Lesson learned: don’t buy crab just because it’s on sale. It’s on sale for a reason. |
 |
Monday
Made soup today. Beef, noodles, veggies… turned out so yummy that everyone asked for seconds. Sometimes I’m not so bad at cooking from scratch! |
 |
Tuesday
Spinach and bacon quiche is one of my fave things to bake. It’s so easy, and reminds me of restaurant food. Lunch at a quiet Parisian cafe. Ha! I used to make it with regular bacon, heavy cream, and lots of cheese, but now use turkey bacon, half & half, and less cheese. I find it’s just as good. Served with some greens tossed in a homemade vinaigrette, to me it’s comfort food x 100. |

Wednesday
I almost forgot to take a photo on Wednesday! I was heading to bed at 11ish, and realized I hadn’t yet picked up my camera. So I looked around and took a photo of the first thing that caught my eye – my daughter’s adorable piggy bank. |

Thursday
I’m always catching the girls eating where they’re not supposed to. Here, MJ’s running around with a piece of crusty bread, dropping crumbs everywhere. The only thing that bothers me more than crumbs in my bed is stepping on crumbs with my bare feet. |

How was your week?
Great week of pictures. I never knew Ritz had Brown Sugar Crackers. Those sound so yummy.
