Progresso High Fiber soup

In the winter, there’s nothing better than snuggling up on the couch, under a big blanket, with a bowl of hot soup in hand. I did that today, as a matter of fact.

I tried Progresso’s new Homestyle Minestrone soup for the first time. Part of Progresso new High Fiber line, I found it to be good. Nice and chunky, though a little more tomatoey than I’m used to. I’d love to try one of the other varieties. There are four in the High Fiber line. The aforementioned Homestyle Minestrone, Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, and Hearty Vegetable – all with no added MSG, no artificial flavors and seven grams of fiber per serving. That’s 28% of your daily fiber requirement in one bowl of soup!

I have a Progresso prize pack to give away to one of you! Similar to the picture below, it’ll include a can of one of Progresso’s new High Fiber soups, as well as two branded soup mugs and two branded spoons. Oh how I love these mugs! They are HUGE, well-made, and the little thumb rest on the handle is cute!

  43. I eat carrots and apples almost every day. Other wise I don’t consciously look for other fiber but do eat some in other things. Read one of the comments about adding oatmeal to meat loaf. I forgot that growing up my mother added oatmeal to extend meat in meat loaf, hamburgers, and most any ground beef during World War II but I liked it. I am going to to got back to that as I know I don’t eat enough fiber. Since I live by myself I can cook it any way I want! Thanks for the entry.

  44. I subscribe and want the extra entry. Thanks for the chance to WIN!
