Rockboard Radiate skateboard

Why ride an ordinary skateboard when you can ride the light? That’s just what Rockboard’s newest product – the Radiate Skateboard – allows you to do.

I saw it at Toy Fair last month and while I don’t skateboard myself, it definitely caught my eye. Rockboard, best-known for their 2012 TOTY (Toy of the Year) award-winning hybrid Rockboard Scooter (which I really want!), is committed to providing kids and teens with a fun, safe, and effective way to stay active during outdoor play, developing innovative and versatile products like this new skateboard. I’ve never seen anything like it!

  • Manufactured with a hard rock maple deck and paired with low rolling resistance Abec-5 bearings that are connected to high-end casted pro aluminum trucks for ultimate durability.
  • Integrated with 48 precision-positioned LED lights, skateboard projects an explosion of color.
  • Utilizes a rechargeable battery that can be turned on and off with a switch.
  • Available in ten different color combinations.
  • Fully assembled and ready ride right out of the box.

How cool would it be to add lighting effects to already awesome tricks? Kids will be riding in style throughout the night with a glowing track of multi-colored lights illuminating their path! I love that the lights are fully rechargeable, with the included power adapter, and you get up to 7 hours of light with every charge.

  18. Alyssa says

I would give it to my 16 year old brother. His role model is Tony Hawk and he loves to skateboard. He wants to compete in the next X Games and he competes in local and statewide competitions. He is really good and I think he would love that skateboard. I’ve been thinking about what I can give him for his birthday which is coming up soon and I came across this. He has done a lot to help me out over these past few months. I lost my child 30 weeks into my pregnancy and he has been here to help me and my husband through the hard times. He comes over to my house everyday after school and makes me dinner while my husband is at work. He’ll read to me or watch tv with me. He is a great boy and I think that he would just LOVE that skateboard. I would be very grateful to win it.

  19. Debbie Hogue says

If I were to win, I would give it to my (hopefully) future son-in-law.
He loves skateboarding and is always looking for a good board.

  20. Kanika Grant says

Mariana I would give the skateboard to my son Kingston who is 4 years old and loves to have play. I encourage him to play outside like I did as a kid and there is a skateboard park near where I grew up that I could take him to. He is not with me right now because my ex also known as the sperm donor took him from me in the middle of the night and gave him to my parents. For weeks I did not know where my own son was and found out later that not only did my parents have him, but that they were going through legal proceedings against me to keep my son from me. I have a Court date April 19th where I hope to get my son out of the legal system and away from crazy people who steal whatever they want, including children. Whether I get him back soon or later, I will get him home with me and his soon to be here brother, hang out and he can get better skilled on the skateboard or any other sport he chooses.
