September 6th – Weekly Roundup

I’m back in town! So hopefully I’ll return to my regular routine, blogging and otherwise…

If you’ve visited my homepage lately, you’ve probably noticed the changes. For organizational purposes, I’ve decided to focus on doing certain types of reviews on assigned days (Movie Monday, Toy Tuesday, etc). I feel a little all-over-the-place some days, and I think this’ll help me coordinate my posts in a timely manner.

Cool Website

• This is an online music video that you must check out. It’s in Spanish, but don’t let that keep you from visiting the site. Just give it a minute to load, hit the Play button, and move your mouse along to the music. It’s so cool.

Food

• I fell in love with these cheeseburger cupcakes when I stumbled upon the tutorial on Flickr – www.cheeseburgercupcakes.com. Thanks to the photos, the process seems easy enough to follow and would be a great project to do with your kids!

Blogging

• The Blog with Integrity campaign will be hosting its first free webinar, Disclosure: What it means, why bloggers need it and how to get it right this coming Wednesday, September 9, at 12 noon EDT. It’s free!
• My friend Tara from Feels Like Home told me about the AZIndex plugin for WordPress a few weeks ago. I just installed it and have been tinkering with it, hoping to organize all my reviews eventually. It’s worth checking out, especially if your blog focuses on reviews or recipes.

Freebie

• Just found this Amazon freebie – a free MP3 download of your choice – but it expires tonight so you have to act fast! You don’t actually have to choose the MP3 at this point, but do have to claim the free code by midnight tonight, 9/6 (PST) for it to show up in your account.
