I’ve been checking out a website called Springpad, which I first discovered last summer at BlogHer. It has changed a lot since then. Springpad is a free web application that helps you save stuff you want to remember, automatically organizes it, and lets you access it anywhere. Never forget anything, from gift ideas to birthdays to vacation plans; just save it into Springpad and it will be there for you for anytime.

When I’m browsing the Internet, I can “clip” items from websites, just like clipping a newspaper, and save them for later without leaving the page I’m on. I think I’ll use this as a virtual wish list and recipe box, but I also want to try out the Meal Planner app, which automatically generates a complete list of ingredients after I choose the meals I want. There’s even an iPhone app that makes it easy to add things on the go.
